My Wedding Trivia is an interactive platform that allows hosts to create and manage live trivia, prop bets, the Shoe Game, scavenger hunts, a live photo wall, and other guest engagement experiences. Players participate via a web browser without creating an account. The Service may be provided on a free or paid basis as described on our pricing page.
Hosts retain ownership of content they upload (questions, images, branding assets). By uploading content, you grant My Wedding Trivia a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
Some images, videos, designs, and promotional media on this website or affiliated sites may be created or enhanced using artificial intelligence (AI) tools for illustrative and marketing purposes.
When a host enables info capture, players who provide their information consent to have that data collected and processed. This may include:

My Wedding Trivia acts as a data processor on behalf of hosts for info capture data. We process this data only as instructed by the host and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

My Wedding Trivia is a software-as-a-service platform and, like all internet-dependent software, is subject to disruptions including but not limited to server outages, third-party infrastructure failures, network connectivity issues, device incompatibilities, browser limitations, high-traffic load, and other technical events beyond our control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or real-time access to the Service at any specific time, including during your wedding, event, or any other occasion. We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain platform stability but make no warranty—express or implied—regarding uptime, performance benchmarks, feature availability, or the accuracy of AI-generated or user-submitted content displayed through the platform.
You acknowledge that: (a) it is your responsibility to test the Service in advance of your event; (b) you should have a contingency plan in place for your event in case the Service is unavailable; and (c) My Wedding Trivia shall not be held liable for any event disruption, guest dissatisfaction, vendor costs, or consequential losses arising from a full or partial Service outage during or around your event.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MY WEDDING TRIVIA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MY WEDDING TRIVIA, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
Liability Cap.In all cases, My Wedding Trivia's total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to My Wedding Trivia in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) twenty-five US dollars ($25.00).
Money-Back Guarantee. We offer a full refund on any paid plan, no questions asked, for requests made up to fourteen (14) days before your event date (the event date provided at checkout or in your account). To request a refund under this guarantee, email Info@myweddingTrivia.com from the email address used at purchase.
Within 14 days of your event and after your event. Because our team reserves capacity and (for Done-For-You plans) performs setup work as your event approaches, purchases become final and non-refundable within fourteen (14) days of your event date and after the event, except where required by applicable law. This includes situations where:
If the Service experiences a verified outage or technical failure on our end during your event, or you believe you have experienced another extraordinary circumstance, contact us at Info@myweddingTrivia.com and we will review your request in good faith.
My Wedding Trivia shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms to the extent such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action or regulation, pandemic or epidemic, cyberattacks, internet or telecommunications infrastructure failures, power outages, or failures of third-party service providers (including cloud hosting, database, payment, or CDN providers).
In such events, My Wedding Trivia's obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event and no liability shall attach to My Wedding Trivia for the resulting non-performance.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My Wedding Trivia and its owners, operators, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
The Service integrates with or relies upon third-party services including but not limited to Firebase (Google), Stripe, and others. My Wedding Trivia is not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policies.
My Wedding Trivia features (such as "Prop Bets") are provided strictly for entertainment and interactive engagement purposes. The platform utilizes virtual "play" chips to track game outcomes. My Wedding Trivia does not operate as a sportsbook, casino, or betting exchange, and does not process, hold in escrow, or distribute real-money wager payouts based on the outcome of an event.
For events using our Honeymoon Fund Feature, any monetary payments processed by My Wedding Trivia on behalf of a host via third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) are exclusively classified and collected as voluntary personal gifts toward the couple's Honeymoon Fund. We provide software to digitally collect these gifts, deduct our operational software platform fee, and disburse the remaining net balance directly to the host's designated recipient account. Our involvement and responsibility formally conclude upon this disbursement.
Any informal wagers, side-bets, or arrangements made between hosts and guests—including a host choosing to independently reward a trivia winner out of their personal funds or Honeymoon pool after the event—are entirely private, off-platform agreements. My Wedding Trivia, its creators, and its affiliates assume absolutely no liability or responsibility for the legality, fulfillment, or dispute resolution of any such unofficial prizes.
Informal Resolution First. Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at Info@myweddingTrivia.com and give us at least thirty (30) days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding Arbitration.If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding.
Class Action Waiver. YOU AND MY WEDDING TRIVIA EACH AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, both parties waive any right to a jury trial.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the dispute qualifies. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections covering Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution shall survive any termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. If you are located in the EEA or UK, nothing in these terms affects your rights under the GDPR or other mandatory local consumer protection laws.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide notice through the platform or by email. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and My Wedding Trivia with respect to the Service.
